Jiri Zastresek is an engineering professional with over 30 years experience in research and development, manufacturing, operations, reliability, and quality system processes within the mining, oil, and gas industries working on formation evaluation tools. As Chief/Lead Engineer he led teams of engineers in developing new tools and systems for downhole applications for Boart Longyear, Baker Hughes, and NOV while providing consulting services to smaller independent service providers and startup companies. He created and published new qualifying and testing protocols for newly developed tools and led commercialization efforts. Mr. Zastresek holds three US patents with one more patent pending. Mr. Zastresek received his B.A. in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT.
